Editors' Review for News Bar (Beta)

The News Bar app by Microsoft Corporation is an news reader app works on Windows 10. Now it's in beta. There are a lot of news reader apps in the market, and some of them are already quite popular, so why we need another news reader app on Windows 10? What's the differences between the News Bar and other news reader apps?

At first, the News Bar works like the Windows Taskbar or we can say it works like the "Action Center". It lists the latest news in the bar section, with the cover and title of the news, when you want to have a look, you click it to show, and if you want to focus, you can minimize it, like the “Action Center". The concept is that it will not take too much time, it's very easy to take a look at, and it will not interrupt you but help you stay informed at the same time. You can customize its appearance in settings, you can modify size of auto-scrolling, how often news scrolls and how many news articles are downloaded. It's a small but useful tool.

Then we should consider the quality of the news content. the News Bar brings users the latest news from the Microsoft News network of over 4500 of the world's most respected journalism brands, as the developer said, it's filled with premium content. And also, the News Bar provides latest news in financial markets, maybe you can use it to watch your stocks price.
