This app gives tons of info on the moon and other planets and it makes a great first impression with its amazing graphics. The astrological information is a fantastic bonus and this app gives you the ability to check the moon phases on a variety of dates it goes well into the future. Its lunar calendar and control over the date make it seem like it's got everything you'd ever want in a moon phases app.

However, once you look past the bling, the app has very little to offer a photographer. As has been pointed out in user's reviews, the app doesn't provide moon rise and set times.
